The video Hegemonic Marriage looks at a underlying meaning of the gender role in a hegemonic relationship in the patriarchally dominated societies through socialization or social conditionings. It explores the mass mentality of traditional gender stereotype and behaviours and an illusion of equality in a conventional society. It looks at how gender classes are constructed, based on economical, sexual, social, educational and occupational relationships, usage of language and body language.
